Where the Elite Praetorian Guards Meet to Eat

Where the Elite Praetorian Guards Meet to Eat

It’s not that much fun being a Training Droid for the Praetorian Guards. Although, it did provide ample opportunity for learning how to spell the word, ‘praetorian’. But the guards themselves were not very nice to him. Our Training Droid, whose name was Constantine, had analyzed the situation. Mostly he had performed this analysis while the Elite Praetorian Guards were whacking at him with their Electro-staffs and their Vibro-ax. Or, they would yell, “ buy Harry’s shaving products featuring Twin Vibro Blades!”  And proceed to slice and dice at the poor, presently forlorn Training dummy. At times like these, Constantine would mull to himself about how being called Elite over and over again had changed them, and not for the better. He thought to himself, couldn’t they just be the Average Praetorian Guard, or, the Underachieving Praetorian Guard? Always being described as Elite had gone to their red-helmeted heads.

The current favorite place to eat for the Praetorian Guards was the Cafe’ in Assembly Square. Ferrar, one of the guards-the one with the Twin Vibro- Arbir Blades- was dating the dance teacher from upstairs. ( Not included in Assembly Square, so we will use Quorra from the TRON: Legacy set to play her).

This particular day, the Praetorian Brothers brought Constantine along, because it was his birthday. He was born  March 14, A Long Time Ago. They set him up at the outdoor table, while they went to get him a cake at the bakery. The only cake the bakery had left was the wedding cake, so they lugged that over. Using their deep Praetorian Guard voices, they serenaded him with three rounds of Happy Birthday to You, and, then, the Birthday Song from Emperor’s New Groove.

But that was not all. Who should arrive, but the Inferno Squad escorting Qi’ra from Kessel Run Millennium Falcon, who was Constantine’s long-running girlfriend. She got down on one non-knee, and presented him with One Ring To Rule Them All.

     “Will you?” she asked.

     “Yes,” he instantly replied.

“And I’ll be your Best Man Dummy!” Out of nowhere, Constantine’s best friend, Frank, one of the Training Dummies from Ninjago Monastery Training, just magically appeared. That happens a lot in these stories.

Constantine then realized that he had misjudged the Praetorian Boys. He invited them all to his bachelor party, which was held down the street at Olivia’s Cupcake Cafe’. At least it started there. It ended, in the wee hours of the night, at that notorious local watering hole, The Weak  Ending.
