A Consequence for Failure
Hildorf the red jungle spider was bored, so he challenged the Jungle Buggy Statue, Odessa, to yet another Lego Checkers game. Odessa gratefully agreed, because she was just a real Checkers Gamie. Her parents were delighted that she was not watching a screen, so they frequently bought her new editions of the game.
Hildorf was having trouble concentrating. He was perseverating on how Jungle Buggy was being retired. What would kids do without a constant supply of Lego red spiders? He knew the answer, of course. It rhymed with Crow In The Dark. Hildorf had always believed that Lego was determined to get a Lego red spider into the hands of as many children worldwide, as possible. He felt like his eight legs had been shot out from beneath him. He also felt like stinging something. He started stinging the checkers pieces. But even they refused to cooperate. Apparently his stings tickled them.
Along Came his majesty, Jungle Buggy, himself. Jungle Buggy was accompanied by Jungle Cargo Helicopter. JCL was using his winch to haul the hidden temple that came in that set. The temple lurched, and the chalice fell off onto Odessa the statue. This set off a Relics War between Odessa and the statue, whose name was Bob. The red spider from Jungle Cargo Helicopter Set (named Mildorf), leaped from the winch- hanging statue while issuing a blood curdling banshee war whoop.
At this point, a red kayak hurdled through the spiders’ self-space, effectively temporarily silencing the action. The kayak had been propelled from the mouth of the Jungle Mobile Lab Venus Fly Trap.
Mayor Fly Trap opened his mouth and spoke:
“My brothers, refrain from this senseless maleficence! We must all band together now, as dangerous times loom in our future. Together, we suffer from A Consequence of Failure. Now, together, we must veer off of the Jungle Path, and seek our Collective Future elsewhere.”
Everyone looked into each other’s eyes, and saw the spark of truth.
And thus, the Great Exo-Dust began. You will find out how Hildorf and Mildorf’s exciting adventure ends in our next episode: Into the Great Exo(Force) Dust…
