A sermon given at Christ Church, an episcopal parish at 141 East Avenue, Rochester, NY, on January 12,2025 in celebration of the Feast of the Baptism of Jesus Christ. Please note: the audio system in the church was experiencing some technical trouble. The first four minutes of audio are of poor quality. I hope the titles on the video will mitigate this issue. The lectionary readings for the day were Isaiah 43:1-7, Psalm 29, Acts 8:14-17, and Luke 3:15-17, 21-22.
